Dog Breed Detector provides photo-based breed estimates and related educational content. You may use the service only for lawful purposes and only with photos you have the right to upload or scan.

Results are visual estimates based on the image provided. They are not pedigree, veterinary, legal, insurance, housing, or DNA ancestry determinations. Use results as a practical shortlist and confirm important decisions with qualified professionals or genetic testing when needed.

Any dog-lookalike or human-photo result is for entertainment only. Upload photos with consent and do not use results to harass, shame, identify, profile, or make decisions about a person.

Do not upload illegal, abusive, private, or sensitive images. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, reverse engineer backend systems, overload the API, or use the service to build a competing model or data set without permission.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We work to keep scanning reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free results.

The website, software, branding, design, and original content are owned by or licensed to the service operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to use the service for personal, lawful purposes. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

You retain your rights in photos you submit. You give us and our service providers only the limited permission needed to transmit, process, resize, and analyze a submitted photo to provide and secure the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the photo.

Our data practices are described in the Privacy Policy. By using the service, you acknowledge that uploaded images may be transmitted to backend infrastructure for processing.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, or decisions made from breed estimates. Any aggregate liability arising from the free service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, the service, or legal rights, including for misuse or a violation of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

We may update these terms as the service or law changes. The updated date identifies the current version, and continued use after an update means the revised terms apply. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
